Background ------------------ Tom has had a lifelong interest in art, especially in classical drawing,
impressionism, and the paintings of Jackson Pollock. After graduating from the University of Rochester with a degree in business, he
put his art career on hold to focus on family and business. Tom became a successful commercial realtor and has been involved
in many commercial real estate

projects throughout Monroe County in upstate New York. In 2001 Galvin resumed his interest in art, studying with Rochester, NY artists Steve Carpenter
and Chas Davis. A year later his art career swung into high gear, partnering with Davis to create Galvin Davis Studio in the
Valley Building at 339 East Ave in Rochester, New York. Tom has since developed
a unique personal visual language, combining his interests in Pollock, drawing, and Impressionism. His latest work explores
landscape and floral still life, and may be seen by private appointment or at periodic open studio viewings at Galvin Davis
Studio. Galvin Davis Studio is a First Friday venue, a Rochester event in
which participating galleries and studios open their doors on the first Friday of each month. Galvin Davis Studio is generally
